Background
London & Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) is one of the UK's largest housing associations, managing more than 43,000 homes.
The Seddon Group has joined forces with L&Q's South East Thames, North Thames and Bexley Regions to carry out all of their property services painting for the next four years. The contract is worth £10 million.
Project
As a leading supplier of painting, decorating and maintenance services for both the public and private sector, Seddon is responsible for all painting at the association's properties, and is proud to have recently been presented with the Maintenance Contractor of the Year Award.
A key objective of the project is to forge strong links with the community and deliver a high level of quality and customer care for the long term.
To this end, L&Q has included its own training initiative, STEP (Supported Training & Education Pathway), into the contract, which means that residents will have the opportunity to enter into training schemes within the project.
